Las Vegas, a city we all revere as being as holy as the Vatican, has decided to crack down on the 50 most prolific prostitutes on the strip. Nevada does have legal brothels, but you have to drive out to the middle of nowhere to get to them because the exchange of sex for money is illegal in the best parts of the state. The Las Vegas Review Journal has stepped up to the plate in obvious support of the cause by posting the full names and ages of many of these women without any regard to the possibility that there may be children back at home and in schools. Who cares? They’re the bastard children of whores.
It’s a good thing they’re doing this. The last time I went out to Vegas I was standing on the sidewalk in front of Treasure Island drinking something that was 3 feet tall and blue trying to enjoy the free promotional show “The Sirens of TI” because I wanted something from the place that had performed jihad on my wallet and I turned around saw this skank obviously trying to use her sex appeal to get men to spend some money. There are mobsters absolutely turning in their grave at the very notion that there is prostitution happening in the oasis that they founded.

I was utterly appalled when I read that article and saw the mug shots with the names and ages of the girls and read their charges. All of them had trespassed or loitered. Loitering! I would like to point out that you’re not loitering if you’re too drunk to figure out how the revolving doors work. That is some complicated shit, it’s like trying to jump in on a double-dutch game from hell especially after all of the free cocktails they give you at the gaming tables. Trespassing is also an incredibly rude thing to do to an establishment that has floor plans designed to keep you on the floor as long as possible without any clocks to indicate how much time you’ve spent.
We have to bring back the sacred qualities of Las Vegas. Even their commercials talk about the epic battle between good and evil.
Ha, fabulous. I hope that SWOP and the other worker groups are all over this, but it is sad that these workers are being targeted by name.
It’s so sad that it’s women that are targeted. Where are the lists of pimps and their crimes? I do hope SWOP and COYOTE see this one.
