Every ‘ho has her day

I was really super busy with all kinds of great projects you see. Aside from my writing over at Carnal Nation, my modeling over at Kink.com, and my usual futzing about at work (little do my 200+ coworkers know that they are all going to be doing a condom demo in the near future) I was also spinning a few other plates around in the air as well. I like to keep busy, but I was getting so little sleep and running around everywhere that all of my plates came crashing down on me in the form of Shingles. 

Shingles are painful and not in the fun kind of way. They also make for a very cranky Ms. Mayhem when she is under strict orders to get a full night’s rest every night and take a ton of Valtrex, Prednisone, and other vitamins. I don’t know how to slow down very well because I like to keep busy. I have things to do! People to beat! I’m not a big player on the drug scene so I powered strictly by pure tenacity and caffeine. I’m on a social worker budget, ya’ know and with a recession going black coffee is about all I can afford. Apparently living on black coffee all day long with 2-3 hours of sleep is bad for you.

So I was sent into a forced vacation which I spent with my beloved Hitachi Magic Wand. Orgasms are good for the immune system and for emotional health and since I was bummed about having to cancel a performance and a shoot I decided to spend some proper time dancing with myself as Mr. Billy Idol would say. I’ve actually fallen asleep with my Hitachi on the pillow next to me. 

But the good news is that I’m on the mend and I’m sure I’ll be back to my busy ways quickly. I have some more shoots booked over at Kink.Com and a couple of other projects up my sleeve as well. I’ll just remember to add a multivitamin to my coffee and maybe add some cream and a bagel here and there. I can’t lay on my back forever, I have to spend a lot of time on my knees and in reverse cowgirl too.
