I was recently sketched by Naked Comix at Not Too Naughty in Livermore, CA.
Being an art model is different than photo modeling. For a picture you can feel free to move and create new and different expressions. Art modeling means remaining still and composed. At first it’s only two minutes at a time, then five, then ten, and then twenty minutes of remaining completely still.
It’s similar to D/s (Dominance and submission) or perhaps similar to tasks I have completed in a D/s situation. In a twenty minute pose you can feel your muscles start to quiver and twitch. Your mind raises with a million ideas all of which can be involuntarily expressed on your face, but you can’t let that happen. How can the artist make you a thing of beauty if you do not remain still?
The staff of the shop were fantastic and downtown Livermore is gorgeous. I’ve always thought of it as a place of science (nuclear science) rather than a place of wineries and quaint storefronts but you learn something new everyday.
