I have been a long time supporter of Scarleteen and it has always been my redirect for those under 18 arriving at my blog and it is my #1 go to reference for youth looking for age appropriate but frank information about sex. It is sex positive, open to people of all genders and levels of experience, and it is concerned about providing accurate and non-judgmental information.
They do all of this on a shoe-string budget and with the help of dedicated volunteers.
Sex education in the United States is severely lacking and youth are left to fill the gaps on their own. This may mean the uncertainty and loneliness that can come from feeling like you’re different from your peers, questions about how to have safer sex, questions about having better sex, learning about your own body, basic trouble shooting, navigating the law and the right to your own body. At some point in all of our lives we’ve needed someone to listen to us without freaking out but those resources are few and far between.
If you’re looking for a good spot to send a few coins, I really recommend it. It’s a great way to help build a sexually healthy culture.

Actually this does bring up a little “In a perfect world” hobbyhorse I’ve been on. A long running (10 years and running) manga “Futari Ecchi”.
(definitely not Futanari, not that there’s anything wrong with that!)
It’s a non-hentai sex manga chronicling a newlywed couple, and their extended families, and co-workers. The newlyweds turn out to be virgins with the practical upshot that they are effectively incompetent at sex. But thankfully they recognise this and seek to learn how to have good sex. They are advised by a variety of different family members who range from libertines to a virgin gynaecologist. We also have episodes involving other characters allowing for a full range of sexual arrangements.
While it could be a bit more feminist it is remarkably even-handed and non-judgemental. It’s realistic, funny and engaging in a rare manner. At the same time it’s chock full of excellent info on just about everything: techniques, anatomy, statistics, contraception, STDs, positions, foreplay, and how guys get things wrong. Sadly legitimate translations are presently unavailable, although scanlations are readily found.
The pity is that this would be the perfect method for distributing sane sex education.
